Positive, The room was sparkling clean, and I had a lovely sea view balcony. Listening to the waves at night was magical. The staff were the best part, especially Rana at breakfast, who brightened my mornings. A comfortable stay, well-located for beach access 😊

The service, the politeness, the sense of personal engagement by the staff.
Access to some of the rooms is rather difficult, but under the circumstances I think it really can't be helped.

The valet service was really good, making parking stress-free in a busy area where ticketing is strict.
The room furnishings felt outdated, with limited space to store luggage, quite uncomfortable .

Seaside location was very good, the view from the window was excellent. Easy to walk inside Orgegia island. People were very nice and helpful. Big safety box was good, enough size to put my laptop PC.
Some TV noise from the next door. Shower system was a little bit difficult at the beginning.

The internal fittings and fit out was just beautiful. The staff were so friendly and always greeted you with a smile. Breakfast area atop the hotel had great outlook. Rooms comfortable and plenty of space to put clothes away for our 4 night stay.
Breakfast was same every morning, although good choice, became repetitive.

The room was quite cramped, especially with luggage. There were splinters on the hardwood floor near the bathroom, which could be a hazard. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room comfortable, and I found the TV lacking, especially with no English channels available. Internet connectivity was slow, a nuisance when you need to reach out to someone or check on your next hyperspace jump.

The highlight of my 2 weeks away by far - a charming hotel of very high quality in a magical setting, right by the sea. I hope to return...!

Charming stay with a historic twist
The historic charm was good, with beautiful sea views from the rooftop terrace that were perfect for breakfast. The staff were genuinely friendly.
The furnishings in the room felt tired and in need of some updates. The TV in our room didn't work, a bit disappointing.

A very friendly hotel with staff who were eager to please; excellent location for exploring Ortigia and for local restaurants and shops. The hotel, although very comfortable was not as luxurious as it appeared in the photos but it was altogether a very nice stay and I would be happy to recommend it.

Great location. Good value. Wonderful views.
Staff was not flexible with regard to special requests.

The Double or Twin Room was pretty spacious, with a nice sea view. The best part? Huge windows letting in lots of light and that soothing sound of the waves. The decor is charming, giving that old-world feel. But the bedding seemed a bit worn out and not very appealing. The fridge didn't work, and some lights were flickering. So, not perfect, but definitely had its moments!
